Men’s Competition Rules

 

1.      A member must have his subscription paid to win a prize in any club competition.

 

2.      A member must have the entry fee paid before competing to qualify to win any competition.

 

3.      Entry names to be written in the competition book in the Golf Shop.

 

4.      To be eligible to win Captain’s and President’s prizes cards must have been returned from three separate 18 hole competitions in the current year.

 

5.      Golfer of the Year competitions are indicated by a ♥

 

6.      Monthly medal competitions are indicated by Ä under the relevant dates (to be presented in October)

 

7.      The Committee reserves the right to alter any of the dates and events and if necessary notice of any change will be given. The Committee’s decision shall be final in connection with any competition.

 

8.      It is imperative that all winners or their representative be present to accept Prizes on Presentation night. Winners or their representatives are asked to acknowledge the generosity of our Sponsors.

 

9.      Juniors and Students with a handicap of 12 or under may win any weekend competition (except Captain’s, President’s and Vice-Captain’s).

 

Rules for Juniors and Students

 

·        Max of 2 Juniors and Students in a Club Fourball / Foursomes /  4 person Scramble

·        Max 2 Juniors / Students

       in 3 person Team Club events

Juniors / Students may play in any Open competition with GUI /CONGU handicaps.
