Dear Members,

We are really looking forward to enjoying a great year's golf with you in 2010. We are honoured to be your Captains for the year, and we promise that we will do our best to make your golfing experience something that you will really appreciate.
Many thanks to our team captains and managers - we wish you and your teams success during the year and we look forward to welcoming you home with plenty of silver and many pennants! One way or another we are looking forward to many enjoyable evenings in the Club this year.
We believe it is very important that standards of dress and behaviour are kept in the Club, and therefore it is vital that members observe the dress code and etiquette, and to always remember that this is essentially a family club.
Our Sponsors have been very generous once again - many thanks to them, especially to those who are with us for many years and to those who are coming on board for the first time. We depend on our sponsors and we ask you, the members, to support them.

We are very mindful of the fact that many people work very hard for the Club in a voluntary capacity especially on Committees and Sub-Committees. Our Honorary Officers in particular deserve particular praise for their commitment and hard work.
To our Course staff, led by Pat Lyne and Paul Sheeran, we look forward to another magnificent year. To Aidan and the staff in the golf shop, and to Maura in the office, we look forward to working with you . To John and Martha Davies and staff, we wish Courtfields a great year.
Finally, may we wish all of you, our esteemed members, a great golfing year in 2010 and, more importantly, the good health to enjoy it.
